I read this on e-sakal's website. Someobody has written this as a response to some news....felt like sharing it with you all and hence putting here. Author has given the information regarding the holdings companies/organizations of various newspapers. After reading that post I suddely realized that why some news papers always gives "some" news (related to BJP/RSS/ and our communal conflicts etc..etc) in a perteculary offensive ways !

बऱ्याचदा आपण माणसांबद्दल चटकन बोलताना "चेहऱ्यावरून तो असा/ ती अशी वाटत नाही,' अशी विधानं करतो. याच्या नेमक्‍या अर्थाचा कुणी विचारही करत नाही. माणसा-माणसातले संबंध ही किती गुंतागुंतीची गोष्ट आहे. आपण अमुक एका संबंधात, अमुक एका प्रसंगात नेमकं कसं वागणार आहोत, याबाबत खुद्द आपणही अगोदर काही सांगू शकत नाही, तर मग इतर कुणी यावर काय प्रतिक्रिया देणार? आयुष्यात येणाऱ्या प्रत्येक व्यक्तीला माणूस म्हणून पाहताना त्याचा/ तिचा माणूस म्हणून आदर करणं हे खूप कठीण आहे, ते त्यामुळेच. .......

Dadasaheb Phalke was father of Indian Cinema. He made his first film, Raja Harishchandra, in 1912. This film was first shown publicly on 3rd may 1913 at Bombay's Coronation Cinema and that was the beginning of the Indian film industry !! Read more about him in this nice article.

Mumbai problem

Why mumbai cannot mix-up with rest of Maharashtra ?

Good article published in M.T. Must read and think.

We got Mumbai after lot of bloodshed in Sanyukta Maharashtra Andolan (for those who don't know...Maharastra and Gujrat were combined in big state called as BOMBAY prior to 1st may, 1960 see Maharashtra Day) However, still today, Mumbai is politically, emotionally and geographically disconnected from rest of the Maharashtra. Lack of good road connectivity between Kalyan-Dombivali-Thane is one of the biggest example ... just think the chaos that happen every time when railways come to stand still. Unless our government and all political parties take effors towards this problem, fear of Mumbai being seperated from rest of the state will be keep on daunting in our minds.

Read this article to understand this and problem and just keep this point alive in some corner of you mind.
